Use Zazu from inside Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor — without opening the website.
If you already work in an AI assistant, you can connect it to your Zazu account and ask it to do the work. Paste a video link into the chat, ask for clips, and they're generated in your Zazu account. No switching tabs.
Once connected you can:
- Generate clips from a video link
- Check whether a clip has finished rendering
- Post finished clips to your connected social channels
Detailed editing still happens in the Zazu editor, where you can see what you're changing.
You don't need this to use Zazu. Everything works normally on the website — this is an extra way in for people who'd rather stay in their AI assistant.
Connecting takes about a minute. Copy one URL, paste it into your AI app, approve the connection.
Step 1 — Get your server URL
Go to Settings → AI Apps and click Copy next to the server URL.
Step 2 — Paste it into your AI app
Each app keeps this in a different place:
- Claude — Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste and click Add.
- ChatGPT — Settings → Plugins → Browse Plugins, Click On + icon Then paste the URL in Connection field.
- Cursor or Windsurf — Settings → Tools & MCP → New MCP Server, and paste the URL.
The same instructions are shown on the AI Apps page, so you don't need to remember them.
Step 3 — Approve access
You'll be sent back to Zazu to sign in and approve. Nothing can touch your account until you do.
Step 4 — Check it worked
Your app now appears under Your connections at the bottom of the AI Apps page.
How do I use Zazu once it's connected?
Just ask, in plain language.
Open a chat in your connected app and say what you want:
- "Turn this YouTube video into 5 clips" — paste the link
- "Is my clip finished rendering yet?"
- "Post that clip to Instagram"
The request runs through Zazu's normal pipeline — the same clipping, captions, B-roll, and framing you'd get on the website. Clips land in your Projects, so you can open any of them in the editor afterwards.
