Can I edit the script manually?

Editing video by editing text — no timeline, no trimming by eye.

Where to find it

1. Sign in and click Projects in the left sidebar.
2. Select your video, pick a clip, and click Edit.
3. In the editor, click Script in the left panel. It's the first one at the top.

How it works

The transcript appears as ordinary text. Select any word or sentence and a menu opens with your options:

• Remove from clip — cuts that part out. Removed lines stay visible with a strikethrough, so you can see what's gone and restore it if you change your mind.
• Emphasize — makes that word land as a large highlighted caption on screen.
• Edit word — correct a word the transcription got wrong.
• Media — drop B-roll, stock footage, or an AI-generated visual at that exact moment.
• Design — adjust how that section looks.
• Split here — cut the clip at that point.
